But don't worry we will still be providing
food and private dining experiences in and around Derbyshire, the Peak District and beyond, in addition to this new offering.

Who are we ?
Tom Mizon
Based in Derbyshire in the heart of the Peak District, personal chef Tom Mizon is incredibly passionate about the food and flavours he creates, using locally sourced seasonal produce from “field to fork”. He is always striving for perfection and consistently delivers delicious, unforgettable food.
Specialising in relaxed, authentic fine dining, Tom uses ideas gathered over two decades of experience, to create menus for a range of special occasions, parties and events or just a unique meal prepared in a setting of your choice.
Born and bred in Derbyshire, Tom has worked in many highly accredited establishments. He gained experience from a wide variety of places in and around Derbyshire, from Leeds, to the south of Australia and from Rosette award winning restaurants to bustling quaint country pubs. Now working exclusively in Derbyshire, Tom focuses on being a personal chef for dinner parties, putting all that experience into private catering events that you won’t find anywhere else.
Nick Andrew
Nick spent his early career in hospitality, before spending the next 15 years working in various aspects of sales, marketing and design mainly for medical and technology companies. Having gained a wealth of experience over the years, Nick took the decision to utilise his skills and knowledge and teamed up with best friend Tom to co-found DerbyshireEats.com and DerbyshireDrinks.com.
Based in the village of Tideswell, Derbyshire in the heart of the Peak District, onicko ltd. offers marketing, web design, branding and has helped to grow over 50 businesses, in and around Derbyshire, to Yorkshire, to Cheshire, to Staffordshire and the whole of the UK, helping businesses of all sizes with their marketing and branding needs.

How it works?

Typically, the same starter, main and dessert is served to the entire party. (although for larger groups additional course choice can de added) If there are any vegetarians, vegans or guests with special dietary requirements we can serve a separate starter and main for them. We are very flexible with our menus, so, if you would like to see more options or add some favourites, please don’t hesitate to ask.

We work with you to pair suitable drinks to accompany your food

We arrive at the property approximately 1-2 hours prior to serving the canapés or first course. This gives us enough time to set up for the evening and finish off the food preparations. Usually we use the crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils within the property, however we can also provide these by prior arrangement.

Front of house and waiting on staff will be provided if required to serve and clear up. Smaller groups will be catered for fully by the chef, unless additional staff are requested.

By prior arrangement we can decorate and prepare the dining table This includes laying of the table (using crockery and cutlery available at the property), fresh flowers, napkins, candles and fairy lights or light box. Otherwise, we ask that the table is laid out by the party themselves.

To confirm a booking we take a small deposit. Once menu choices and final number of guests have been confirmed, a final invoice will be issued and is payable 14 days prior to the event.
